You can lodge FIR online with Delhi Police by using the web portal of Delhi Police. The online system introduced to register FIR can be used to report loss of articles or important documents. Theft of Bikes, Cars and other vehicles can also be reported online to register FIR online in the respective Police Station of Delhi Police.
Complaints can be lodged through your mobile or website of Delhi Police any time anywhere without going to police stations. The e-police station have jurisdiction all over NCT of Delhi. In Delhi an e-police station has been created under Crime Branch for registration of cases for motor vehicles theft. The mobile/web application has been developed to help the complainant to register First Information Report (FIR) and instantly receive a copy of the same without going to a police station. Steps to Register FIR online with Delhi Police
Step 1. Open FIR Registration page in the Website of Delhi Police - http://www.delhipolice.nic.in/register.html. The following menu will be opened.
Step 2 : Follow the instructions given below to fill the Delhi Police Report Form
1. Complainant's Name : Enter name of person who is registering the Complaint
2. Father's / Mother's Name : Enter Father's / Mother's of the Complainant
3. Complainant's Address: Enter address of the complainant
4. Complainant's Mobile No: Enter mobile number of Complainant
5. Complainant's e-mail address: Enter e-mail address of complainant
6. Place of Loss in Delhi: Enter the name of locality, area or place where the article or document was lost
7. Date of Loss : Enter date of item lost with month and year
8. Time of Loss : Enter the time at which article / document was lost
9. Lost Articles : Enter the name of article lost. Description : Enter the description of lost article. Different articles should be entered one by one
10. Any other information : Enter additional information if any, but should not repeat the information entered above.
11. Enter the code shown in the box
Step 3. Hit on submit button
Now your complaint is lodged with Delhi Police
